Your First contact with music?/Il primo contatto con la musica/Dein erster Kontakt mit der Musik?
An open mic at a local bar

What do Ilke about playing music on the street?/Che cosa ti piace del suonare per strada?/Was gefällt dir an der Idee, auf der Straße zu spielen?
It’s a very special venue for playing music. Streets are seen as a way to get somewhere, for most people they have a “transitory value”. But when music is performed on the streets everything changes: the street BECOMES a place to go to rather than just a stepping-stone to go somewhere else. That’s what i like about playing on the streets: It allows you to “bring the stage to your music”, rather than the usual “bring your music to the stage”.

Which concert Impressed you particularly and why?/Il concerto che ti ha colpito di più e perché?/Welches Konzert hat dich besonders beeindruckt und warum?
“The Wall” concert of Pink Floyd in Berlin. The meaning of the album – already tremendously fascinating in itself – became even more vivid and real when it was performed in a place where not too long ago the Berlin Wall stood. It is a great example on how the venue of a concert can change the meaning of the songs performed dramatically.

The soundtrack of your current life?/La colonna sonora della tua vita ora?/Der Soundtrack deines derzeitigen Lebens?
The soundtrack from the movie “A Knight’s Tale” starring Heath Ledger

What does it mean to be a musician?/Cosa significa essere un musicista?/Was bedeutet es, Musiker/in zu sein?
It means “speaking up”. We live in an era where futile information is overwhelmingly present, but where nobody talks about the most important things and ideas. The world is a big mouth with a finger in front of it that goes “Shhhhhhhh” and our music is a man with a megaphone yelling out what can’t be said. Communication is everything, whether verbal or non-verbal, and live music can transmit these impulses in powerful bursts that remain engraved in a person’s eardrum and mind.

What does your family think of your choice to be a musician?/Cosa ne pensa la tua famiglia della scelta di fare musica?/Was sagt deine Famile zu deiner Entscheidung, Musiker/in zu werden?
They are extremely supportive and encouraging. Brothers never miss a gig and always follow our steps.

Dream concert – impossible concert: who would you like to hear?/Concerto dei sogni – concerto impossibile: chi vorresti sentire?/Das Konzert deiner Träume – ein unmögliches Konzert: wen würdest du gerne mal hören?
Thom Yorke from Radiohead singing for a latin-percussion band with Fieldy (bassist of Korn) playing double bass and Carlos Santana on the lead guitar.

Best or worse experience of your musical career?/Aneddoti: la migliore o peggiore esperienza della tua carriera musicale?/Deine schönste oder schlimmste Erfahrung im Laufe deiner Musikkarriere?
Our live concert at the American Army Base (Caserma Ederle) stationed in Vicenza (Italy) was the most fun and interesting experience until now.

Great band and a great pleasure having them play our Open Mic Sessions. So nice to have some good original sounds instead of all the trash metal music that is so prominent in this region
    Always welcome
