Your first contact with music?/Dein erster Kontakt mit der Musik?/Il primo contatto con la musica?
Als Schüler spielte ich Posaune in der Dorfmusikgesellschaft. Dann mit 10 Jahren bekam ich die erste Gitarre geschenkt und die Leute nannten mich Jimi wegen meines Lockenhaars. Mit 15 die Entdeckung von Bob Dylan und der ganzen weiten Welt voller Helden. Alles nach dem Motto “video killed the radio star”.

Ehrlich gesagt, auf der Straße habe ich es nie gemacht.

Weiss ich eigentlich nicht, da ich nicht von meiner Musik leben muss. Wenn aber das Publikum vor mir nach einem Song klatscht, weiss ich, dass da irgend etwas ganz Spezielles vollbracht wurde.
