Your first contact with music?/Dein erster Kontakt mit der Musik?/Il primo contatto con la musica?
Als Schüler spielte ich Posaune in der Dorfmusikgesellschaft. Dann mit 10 Jahren bekam ich die erste Gitarre geschenkt und die Leute nannten mich Jimi wegen meines Lockenhaars. Mit 15 die Entdeckung von Bob Dylan und der ganzen weiten Welt voller Helden. Alles nach dem Motto “video killed the radio star”.

What do like about playing music on the street?/Warum spielst du gerne auf der Straße?/Che cosa ti piace del suonare per strada?
Ehrlich gesagt, auf der Straße habe ich es nie gemacht.

Which artist or concert impressed you particularly and why?/Welcher KünstlerIn oder welches Konzert hat dich besonders beeindruckt und warum?/L’artista o il concerto che ti ha colpito di più e perché?
Mein schönstes Konzert war die Inszenierung von “The Wall” von Pink Floyd / Roger Waters 2013 in Rom.The soundtrack of your current life?/Der Soundtrack deines derzeitigen Lebens?/La colonna sonora della tua vita ora?

What does it mean to be a musician?/Was bedeutet es MusikerIn zu sein?/Cosa significa essere un musicista?
Weiss ich eigentlich nicht, da ich nicht von meiner Musik leben muss. Wenn aber das Publikum vor mir nach einem Song klatscht, weiss ich, dass da irgend etwas ganz Spezielles vollbracht wurde.

Meine Frau und unsere zwei Kinder sind sehr froh mit einem Popstar zusammen zu leben ; )
